Wellgevity 360 was founded by healthcare providers and financial and strategic leaders with decades of experience and a passion for improving quality of life.
Lance Friedman, CEO and Chairman of the Board, is the founder and principal of Blackstone Capital Advisors, Inc. and Cobra Alternative Capital Strategies LLC, international corporate and capital markets advisory firms. He is a founding member of Aspire BioPharma Inc., a biotech firm based in Puerto Rico.
Barbara Sher, COO and President, brings over 20 years of experience in senior executive roles at both large and small public and private companies, including Greenlane, Newfold Digital, and Web.com. Barbara received her MBA from Seton Hall University.
Joseph Clemente, CFO, has over 20 years of executive leadership experience at companies such as BirdieBox, Cumulus Media, and Neptune Retail Solutions, where he successfully aligned financial stewardship with business goals.
Kevin Lee Smith, General Manager and Head of Clinical Services, has senior clinical and quality executive leadership experience with MinuteClinic and Zipnosis. He has been an active primary care nurse practitioner and served as faculty at the University of Minnesota.
​Gary Barnard, MD, Director of Education, has been in the private practice of Family & Internal Medicine since 1999. He focuses on treating all aspects of an individual’s health, emphasizing the importance of a healthy body and mind.
Barb Brynstad, VP of Marketing, has decades of experience in healthcare and technology marketing communications. She is a proven executive with a track record of results in building brands through digital marketing.
Board of Directors
Gary E. Stein, Director, who brings over 45 years of expertise in legal, financial, and business development, currently serves as CFO of Engineering Mechanics Corporation in the nuclear and oil & gas sectors. His impressive background includes senior roles as General Counsel and CFO at Kiefner and Associates and President of DB Capital Corporation. Stein holds a Juris Doctorate and a Bachelor of Arts in political science and marketing from Capital University, positioning him as a well-rounded leader for strategic growth.
James Hennig, Director, a seasoned leader with over 40 years of experience in infusion services and pharmacy operations, currently serves as the Network Director of Infusion Pharmacy at Hackensack Meridian Health. He has a proven track record in managing specialty pharmacy operations and previously held key positions at Cardinal Health and Triad Therapeutics, Inc. A Registered Pharmacist with a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy from Long Island University, Mr. Hennig’s expertise positions him as a valuable asset for driving growth in the healthcare sector.
Mara Jacobs, Director, is an executive producer with a keen attention to detail. She is known for her notable projects, including In the Heights (2021) and The Color Purple (2023), and for collaborating with industry leaders such as Oprah Winfrey. With extensive experience in managing multimillion-dollar budgets, she brings strong financial expertise to the company’s Audit Committee. A New York University graduate with a Bachelor’s in economics, Mara is dedicated to fostering innovation and financial stability for Wellgevity 360.
