My Care Philosophy

I believe that we cannot achieve health goals if those goals are not realistic for the individual. Similarly, these health goals cannot be achieved if the client isn’t involved in the goal planning process. Clients need to be heard. Providers always talk about healthcare needing to be holistic but that does not happen if care is driven solely by the healthcare provider.

Healthcare should be a symbiotic relationship between the client and their provider. Taking care of yourself means more than taking a palmful of pills prescribed to you. Each client requires a careful assessment of balancing medicine with self-care and prioritizing what is important and realistic to each of us in our own journey.
